This is a super easy recipe for a crowd-pleasing appetizer! Everything you love about tacos is transformed into a hot, cheesy, bubbly dip. Give this one a try!
Ingredients:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
1 15-oz. can refried beans
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 lb. 80% lean ground beef
1 15-oz can tomato sauce
1 packet taco seasoning
1 large tomato, chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
Tortilla Chips for dipping
Directions:
1. Place oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until the beef just starts to brown, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain the beef and return to the pan. Add the tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Continue to cook on medium for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In the bottom of a 9 x 12 casserole dish, combine the cream cheese with the sour cream and spread it out. Spread the refried beans over the cream cheese mixture. Spoon the meat mixture on top of the refried beans and spread it out to completely cover the beans. Sprinkle the tomatoes over the meat, then top with the cheese. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the mixture is hot and bubbly.
3. Sprinkle the cilantro over the dip. Serve with tortilla chips.
Enjoy!
