Warm spinach and artichoke dip is a classic appetizer. I’ve experimented with this recipe quite a bit before I came up with this DELICIOUS version! A sour cream, mayonnaise, and cream cheese base is blended with lots of cheese (both mozzarella and Parmesan), spinach, artichokes, and a few other ingredients for some added flavor. All of this deliciousness is baked, and the result is an ooey, gooey, cheesy dip that will definitely be a crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
10 oz. package chopped spinach, thawed
1 14.5-oz. can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
¼ cup grated onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
Directions:
1.Preheat an oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, blend together the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
3. Drain the spinach and press it dry with paper towels. Try to get as much of the water out of the spinach as you can. Add it to the cream cheese mixture.
4. Add the remaining ingredients to the cream cheese mixture and stir until everything is well combined.
5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly. Remove the dish from the oven and stir the dip.
Serve with tortilla chips, bread, crackers, veggies…whatever dippers you like!
